Strong first aid skill in medical emergency ? Knowledge and skills to identify common and frequently occurring diseases among pupils ? Providing patient care to injured or sick pupils or staff with standard of nursing practice ? Regularly report to the school management team; when emergency happens, with a proper first-aid or nursing treatment, immediately reports to the management team ? Issue medication as appropriate and record dispensing of drugs following medication protocols ? Liaise with parents over medical matters concerning their children as appropriate ? Observing and documenting pupils’ health history which orients the treatments to pupils especially when emergency happens ? Completing the governmental education bureau and health authorities assigned tasks ? Organizing health related training to staff, provide necessary first aid and emergency care treatment ? Maintain stock of all school medical supplies ? Follow good practice and specific directives on immunization procedures relevant to the school population and individuals? Follow procedures for the safe disposal of clinical waste ? Keeping accurate records of nursing observations and care ? Maintaining a high level of order, safety, and strict control over medicine ? Follow the arrangement of night shift for boarding and duty for Academic events on weekends ? Actively participates in any related training held by the school ? Maintain medical records accurately, confidentially, and safely ? Keep nursing records to a high standard ensuring the accurate and rapid retrieval of information ? Pupil Vaccination Record and Health problems updated and shared to all academic staffs and Canteen Administrative ? Communicate with parents about medical issues with a good manner and service attitude ? Communicate timely with academic team and other departments about medical issues ? Report skills ? To monitor the progress of a potential risk related to school health and report to school management any developments ? Predict potential crises and take preventive measures ? Deal with difficult situations related to medical issues ? Manage HNH and WCIH clinics and build up and maintain a positive nurse team in both of schools ? Supervise the daily care and nursing work carried out by school nurses ? Assist head nurse to manage nurse team ? Can be the replacement in any of nurse position ? Actively respond to the requirements of school management ? Analyse and improve the current medical policy and procedures ? Work closely with local health authorities maintain good relationships ? Maintain medical records accurately, confidentially, and safely ?
